My Little Girl

Maddie is 12......going on 21. I am beginning to notice little by little my little girl needing me less....I know she loves me just as much as yesterday, she is just growing up so fast. Yesterday while I was cleaning the pool, she came and sat on the edge and watched me working for a while. I looked up from the bottom of our empty pool and there she was, my 12 year old daughter....she was 12, giggling at the frogs in the pool, squirting me with the water hose. I got a tear when I thought about it, just as I do now typing this. I cannot find the words that come close to expressing the love for my children.
