As promised here are photos of the first quilt I made. I made this as a Christmas present for Maddie. She has already let me know I have to make a bigger one now that will fit her bed.
WOW! This is beautiful, Tadd! I'm curious about the text - do tell what those words mean... Did you know that someone in the family made special order draperies for Marshall Fields? I remember Mom telling me that, but I'm not sure who it was. Another lady in the family made beautiful Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls that brought her a nice income. Perhaps that's why we so enjoy sewing - it's in the genes!

That is awesome!
I am quite impressed with you quilt making talents. : o )
You should see the pillow that I tried to sew at 12 years old - it's a sad sight : o (
Perhaps I should try sewing again?
The quilt is beautiful - you did a FANTASTIC job!
Hip, hip - HOORAY!
Abs, you need to give it another try! The text on the quilt are sayings from the college Maddie wants to go to, Texas A&M.
